Pauls Rubenis 10th on the Tour de Bretagne's 2nd stage

As predicted, it wasn't a bunch sprint today. There were some small groups up the road at the first part of the 152km long stage, but 45km from the finish a bigger group went with our Pauls Rubenis and Alekss Krasts in it. The main field wasn't too far away and today's stage winner Johan Le Bon (Dinan Sport Cycling) even jumped across 7km to go.

Pauls and Alekss didn't have any good legs for the uphill sprint, but they were happy to show their good form and racing spirit.

The main field came in only 24 seconds later and everything is still open in terms of the general classifications as the 1st and 2nd in the GC belong at the moment to the French amateur team riders Le Bon ( Dinan Sport Cycling) and Le Berre (Côtes d'Armor-Marie Morin-U).

Pauls Rubenis is 10th in the GC, Alekss Krasts 14th, Madis Mihkels 30th, Aivaras Mikutis 58th, Markus Knaapi 99th and Artjom Köster 120th. Artjom had a bad allergical reaction today and he couldn't breath normally and finished 9m44s down.
