PAJUR WON LAURI AUS MEMORIAL RACE!

Over the weekend, our CYCLING TARTU 2024 Estonians participated in the Lauri Aus Memorial Race in Tallinn. Lauri Aus was one of the best cyclists in the 1990s. This race is organised in his honour and memory for the 20th time. Lauri was always a cheerful and kind-hearted rider as well as a person.

This race is always one of the honourable races to win in Estonia, and this time our rider Markus Pajur did it. Lenght of the main race was 90km with 7 intermediate sprints. After very active racing, Markus escaped with eight other riders. At the finish line, he beat the next competitor, Norman Vahtra, by five seconds and the third, Siim Kiskonen, by 18 seconds. Lauri Tamm was fifth, and Aaron Aus was ninth.
