Video: Lauri Tamm 2nd in Estonian Elite Road Race Championships

Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian championships titles were decided today during the Baltic Road Race Championships in Võru, Estonia. The 158km long race was animated and very active for the first 90km as no real breakaway formed. Finally it was a group of 14 riders with Adomaitis, Tamm, Kiskonen from Voltas - Tartu 2024 by CCN at the front and a group of four with our Latvian Alekss Krasts joining them a bit later. Alekss unfortunately crashed and was taken out from the Latvian Championships podium battle and Adomaitis had technical problems and lost the chance to race for the Lithuanian title. Lauri Tamm finished it off on the Estonian side and got a silver behind our ex-rider Norman Vahtra (Van Rysel-Roubaix) who became 2nd time in his career Estonian Champion. Our former rider Markus Pajur (EC St Etienne-Loire) finished 3rd.

Venantas Lasinis (Energus Cycling Team) won the Baltic and Lithuanian title the second time in his career and Emils Liepins (Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL) was crowned as Latvian Champion 3rd time in a row.
