Attacking spirit in Baltic Chain Tour gave good results, but no glory

Our Latvian riders Alekss Krasts and Pauls Rubenis finished Baltic Chain Tour in the GC on the 5th and 6th spot respectively. It was the first stage then a big group group of 21 men opened the road and with the attacks in the final seven riders formed the lead including our Latvian U23 riders. They finished 4th and 7th of the stage and continued to fight for higher rankings on the next stages, but finally we had nobody on the podium on the stages and in the GC, but we did put fire on the race. All the team gave a big effort to activate the race and get a podium, but we ended up with loads of places inside the top6 and top10, but no podium. At least the guys showed their good form and we will be competitive during the upcoming UCI races in Europe ( Flanders Tomorrow Tour 1-3rd September, Tour of South Bohemia 8-11th September and GP La Somme on 11th September).
