Antti-Jussi 3rd in the Baltic Chain Tour

Antti-Jussi Juntunen has been super regular this season. After winning a stage in Dookola Mazowsza mid-July, he finished 10th of the high level French second category tour Kreiz Breiz and 6th in the Memorial Henryka Lasaka (UCI 1.2 Poland).

Ampler Development Team's boys knew that they can count on Antti-Jussi and they showed their fighting spirit in the Baltic Chain Tour's (UCI 2.2) second stage with having four riders in the decisive moove.

"The second stage Ülenurme- Lange Motokeskus with gravel sections was demanding and it was nice to see boys ready for the task," told their coach Toms Flaksis.

The Lithuanian U23 Champion Aivaras Mikutis and Finlands biggest diesel Ukko Peltonen were driving the break as it would be their last race of the year. Antti didn't dissappoint them and after finishing 3rd in the opening stage, he got some important bonification seconds from the second stage's intermediate sprints and it was all about to secure the 3rd place in the GC with clever tactics during the last stage in Valga.

The next races will be PMA Tour in France (27-29 August) and Flanders Tomorrow Tour in Belgium (2-4 September).
