Today we started Tour du Loir et Cher 2.2 in France. First stage was 146kms with final 3 laps (8.6kms). Our Latvian Alekss Krasts showed his good form again today. Few weeks ago in La Route Adelie de Vitre 1.1 he escaped with strong brakeaway but has no luck in the end, we saw that he has the legs to fight for the podium. Today after 50kms he attacked to get warmer body after heavy rain and got away with 2 other guys. Before city laps when there was ridden 120kms, they were pretty sure they'd be caught. After first city lap (8.6km) when the gap was still over 1 minute, they started to belive possibility to fight for the win. Luckily the cooperation went well and they managed it.
Markus Pajur was 18th and Aaron Aus 31st and it brought us the title of the best team!
